The Challenge
NatGold tokenizes verified in-ground gold reserves on Ethereum, letting investors capture monetary value without mining. Coordinating releases across smart contracts, valuation logic (AISC-based Baseline Intrinsic Value), MiCA-compliance requirements, and a public-facing platform - while pre-market demand grew past $469M across 162 countries - demanded tight, low-risk release management with no margin for shipping a broken or non-compliant build.
Approach & decisions
- Owned the release process across smart contract, backend, and front-end components, coordinating timelines into predictable, low-risk releases
- Maintained release checklists, environments, and sign-off gates so every build was tested, reviewed, and compliant before going live
- Acted as the coordination point between engineering, QA, and stakeholders to sequence dependencies and manage release scope
- Tracked and triaged release-blocking issues, driving them to resolution without slipping committed dates
- Managed deployment cut-overs and post-release verification to confirm stability of token reservation and valuation flows
